UTR CFDT de Côte d'Or joins the PGI
October 2024
Can you tell us a little about the work of the UTR CFDT de Côte d'Or in the area of ageing?
The Health and Living Environment Commission has been working for a long time on issues concerning retired people in the public and private sectors, such as health, housing, living environment, financial resources and assistance, technical aids, etc. The commission informs its members and collects their problems. The commission informs its members and collects their problems. It works with the UTRs of other departments in the BFC region and the national UCR CFDT to put forward proposals. Representatives are involved in bodies such as ARS, CDCA, CCAS and RFVAA. A survey was carried out in 2023 in France Service du 21, and information on “Adapting your home” is also offered.
You've just joined the PGI membership network. Can you tell us why?
The members of the committee are former professionals from the medical, social, inclusive housing and HLM sectors, associations, elected representatives from local authorities, etc., who continue to follow these areas of activity. It has become clear that our experience and expertise contribute to the debates by making both oral and written proposals, as was the case at the CNR Santé, for the development of public roads.
Within the PGI, what projects would you like to support or contribute to?
The two representatives of UTR 21 come from the medical (Olivier Drigny is a nurse) and industrial (Alain Dermenjian is an engineer who has reduced mobility due to his Multiple Sclerosis and uses equipment to get around) sectors. Among the projects, we could get involved in housing and public space facilities to improve mobility and accessibility. We could also get involved in issues of support for people, including retirees, caregivers and professionals. There are many subjects to choose from, and we'll need to select the ones we can best contribute to.
